Dissonance. 2009

Two sound atmospheres in a room, realized during my one month stay in a nursing home.

Vous verrez si ça vous plaît beaucoup (you will see if you like it very much)
This is first of all a writing for a play. I retranscripted a discussion I had with an Alzheimer woman, and put the writing as a real beckettian play on paper. Through the whole text, we can feel the lost of memory, the destructuration of the words, and also of the life.
We registered a first lecture of the play that the visitors can listen through headphones.
limited edition A5 format, 150 exemplaries (in collaboration with Alexandra David)

Walking on the wild side is made of mixed sound recorded during the stay (footsteps, breath,
walking sticks, infirmary trolley, wandering old people in the corridor) and transmitted through speakers. We can hear an obsessive and regular rhythm.
